Police have arrested two men wanted for a stabbing in Hatfield this week.

After a police appeal, a 19-year-old man from Luton and an 18-year-old man from Hatfield were arrested yesterday evening on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and remain in custody.

After the alleged assault just before midnight on Tuesday in Oak Tree Close, a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detective Constable Mark Cotte said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance with this matter, and would continue to appeal to anyone who may have information about the incident to call us via the non-emergency number 101.”
