Fight involving up to 50 people in Hatfield

Two men have been arrested following a brawl in Hatfield.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 2.36am on Saturday, November 16, to Market Place, Hatfield, to reports of a fight involving between 20-50 people.

“PAVA spray [similar to pepper spray] and a Section 35 dispersal order were deployed.

“The dog unit also attended.”

A 22-year-old from Mill Hill and a 26-year-old from Potters Bar were both arrested on suspicion of affray.

They have both been released under investigation.
