COMMUTERS using Potters Bar railway station can now access important travel information using a popular social networking site.
Passengers who follow rail operator First Capital Connect (FCC) on Twitter can now provide simple information about their regular commute, such as times and the stations they use.
The system will then continually monitor the rail network, alerting users when problems occur.
Because of the mobile-friendly nature of Twitter, rail users will be able to receive these alerts even if they are already on the move.
