HUNDREDS of people enjoyed the glorious sunny weather while experiencing the fun and frolics of Cuffley fete.
Opened by former model and 2008 ITV1 Dancing on Ice star Linda Lusardi, the charity family event, in the Free Church in King James Avenue, took place on Saturday.
Around 200 visitors had a go at a range of activities including an auction, facepainting, Lego workshops and a balloon race.
More than �1,000 was raised for Cancer Research UK.
Organiser Victoria Curran, told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Saturday was a great day!
“Linda Lusardi was a gem, so down-to-earth and friendly.”
She added: “The event could not have been achieved without the help of all the volunteers and, of course, the generosity of Cuffley Free Church.
“Thank you to the whole community.”
