COMEDY superstar Ed Byrne will be cracking the gags in Hertfordshire later this month.

The "dazzling" and "utterly charming" comic will be bringing his "blisteringly funny" one-man show about marriage, class, the youth of today and anything else that tickles him to Broxbourne Civic Hall.

Ed has performed hit UK tours while leaving a lasting impression on the international comedy circuit having appeared in Canada, USA, France, Australia and Ireland.

To date he has starred in a string of films and television shows including playing the "grungy teenager" in a Father Ted Christmas special and the part of a wheeling, dealing ducker and diver in BBC's Doctors.

Ed has made other TV appearances including presenting his own show, Ed Byrne's Just For Laughs, and sparkling appearances on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You.

Ed has just filmed a half hour stand-up special for Paramount Comedy Channel, which will be transmitted later in the year, and is currently developing a radio show for BBC Radio 2.

Ed Byrne will be at Broxbourne Civic Hall next Thursday, February 26.
