THE turnout in this year’s General Election in Hertsmere has dropped.
In 2005, around 71 per cent of voters headed for the polls as Conservative Party candidate James Clappison was elected for a fourth term as Hertsmere MP.
However this time around only 65 per cent of residents eligible to vote in the constituency did so.
