THE family of a man killed in a head-on crash have paid tribute to him.
Justin Wand, 47, died after his gold TVR was in collision with a silver Mercedes.
The accident took place on the B651, half-a-mile north of the junction with Whitwell High Street, at about 8.30am on Wednesday.
A tribute released by his family said Mr Wand grew up and lived in Bendish, near Whitwell.
Most recently he had been living in Cambridge, where he was studying.
The statement added it was a tragic loss and Mr Wand would be missed by family and friends.
The driver of the Mercedes, a man in his 60s, was taken to the Lister Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
