The stolen clock, which has sentimental value

A CLOCK with sentimental value was stolen in a burglary in Welwyn.

The raid, in Ninnings Lane, took place between 11am and 8.30pm on Wednesday, after crooks gained access at the rear of the home.

Police are hoping members of the public may be able to help reunite the clock with its owner.

Detective sergeant Pete Ward said: “It is of great sentimental value and we will do everything we can to try and trace it.

“Have you been offered the clock for sale? Perhaps you saw people acting suspiciously in the area during the day on Wednesday?”

Call police with information on 0845 33 00 222.
