TRAINS are no longer terminating at WGC railway station, the Welwyn & Hatfield Times can confirm.

Services heading towards London had been ceasing at WGC due to a power failure on the network between Alexandra Palace and Kings Cross.

But engineers from Network Rail have now restored power and trains are now running into Kings Cross once again.

A spokesman for rail operator First Capital Connect said residual delays of up to 45 minutes remained.

He added that it could take up to an hour for these delays to clear.
