Commuters are facing delays and cancellations this morning after a Great Northern train broke down between Welwyn Garden City and Finsbury Park.
Earlier today, the 7.20am Hertford North to Moorgate developed a fault, and was taken out of service at Grange Park causing a queue behind it.
Services which run through Welwyn Garden City towards Moorgate and King’s Cross have been delayed or cancelled by up to 15 minutes as a result.
Great Northern published on its website: “Great Northern are now working to restore services to normal, and some trains may need to run non stop on order to prevent delays spreading to other services and passengers.”
