TWO people were injured in a two-car smash on the A1(M) this morning (Thursday).
The vehicles, a red BMW 330 and a silver Honda Jazz, were in collision on the northbound carriageway between junctions five and six, at Welwyn Garden City.
The Honda ended up halfway down the embankment.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
An ambulance service spokesman said the two motorists were treated for minor injuries, but did not need to go to hospital.
