Great Northern has warned of long delays after somebody was struck by a train near Potters Bar.

The incident at New Barnet station has resulted in all lines closing between New Southgate and Potters Bar – causing delays of up to an hour to journeys between London King’s Cross/Moorgate and Stevenage via Potters Bar.

Some services have been diverted to run via Hertford North.

Great Northern said disruption is expected to continue until approximately 5pm.
