Highways England has warned of “long delays on approach” to the M25 between Junctions 23 and 24 clockwise near South Mimms and Potters Bar, due to a broken down vehicle.
Traffic officers are at the scene.
Lanes three and four are closed, and there are currently delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.
Highways England expects the situation to clear by around 5.15pm.
