A three-car crash on the A1(M) has caused congestion between Welwyn and Stevenage.
The collision happened on the northbound carriageway at around 5.30pm and blocked two lanes, causing congestion to build between Junction 7 for Stevenage and Junction 5 for Lemsford.
Beds, Cambs & Herts Roads Policing Unit confirmed the vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder, but motorists are being warned to plan ahead before using the stretch.
It is unclear if anyone was injured.
