Snow causes school closures across Hertfordshire

A NUMBER of schools across Hertfordshire have announced they will remain shut today (Wednesday) due to heavy snow.

Meanwhile, Green Lanes Primary in Hatfield, Holy Family in WGC, Panshanger Primary in WGC and Welwyn St Mary’s Primary have declared they WILL open.

Holy Family in WGC is open, but will shut at noon due to the predicted heavy snow later this afternoon.

Oaklands Primary School in Welwyn is also open, but will shut at 1pm.

Kimpton Primary School is open for pupils in years one to six, but not for reception or nursery children.

The Hatfield-based Mid Herts Music Centre is shut, though.
