Firefighters from Welwyn Garden City, St Albans and Borehamwood put out a blaze in a Hatfield flat today.
The fire and rescue service was called at 10.30am to a second floor flat in Clarkson Court.
Six engines attended in total, with Welwyn Garden City’s Blue Watch first at the scene.
“Luckily nobody was hurt,” tweeted officers of Blue Watch.
Firefighters used breathing apparatuses, hose reels and a covering jet in their efforts to put out the fire.
