Congestion is currently building near Potters Bar and South Mimms on the M25 following a collision.
Highways England said a crash on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 25 and 26 has caused severe delays tailing back to Junction 24 (Potters Bar) and 23 (South Mimms).
All lanes were temporarily closed, but have since reopened, and motorists are being advised to plan ahead before travelling.
