There is currently congestion near Potters Bar after emergency repairs were made to the M25’s anticlockwise carriageway.
Highways England is warning of “serious delays” of up to 90 minutes between Junction 28 for Chelmsford and Junction 26 for Waltham Abbey.
It follows two lanes being closed to carry out emergency repair works, which has caused knock-on congestion near Potters Bar and the surrounding areas.
The work has been completed, but the lanes are still closed as Highways England officers wait for the tarmac to set.
