REPAIRS to a gas leak are causing delays to drivers in this morning’s (Thursday’s) rush hour.
One lane of the A1000 at Welwyn is closed while Transco work at the site.
The busy commuter route, which goes under the A1(M) motorway, is expected to be affected until the end of the week.
A Herts Highways spokesman said: “Road users are advised to avoid the area if possible.”
