EMERGENCY repairs to fix a gas leak have caused the closure of one lane on a busy road in Welwyn this morning (Wednesday).
The A1000 from Welwyn towards WGC is still open, but delays are expected.
A Transco spokeswoman said: “We didn’t want to close the road during rush hour, so we monitored the situation.
“The road was closed after the morning rush hour today and is likely to be closed until the end of the week.”
