A key road just outside Welwyn Garden City could be closed for four days outside peak hours for resurfacing.
Hertfordshire Highways plans to put new surface dressing on the B197 Digswell Hill, between Ayot Green Lane and London Road, Welwyn, and engineers have permission for a four-day closure, starting today, between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
A spokesman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times the road could open earlier than Thursday if work went well.
