Pothole plagued motorists were urged to tell the council about damaged roads to mark National Pothole Day.
The unfortunately-titled annual event fell on Thursday and is there to encourage people to report potholes.
And Hertfordshire County Council did just that, via Twitter.
People with pothole problems should tell the council about them via the county council website here
