COMMUTERS were relieved this morning as the trains ran as normal following yesterday’s (Tuesday) chaos.
Power line failures north of Hitchin paralysed the rail network with First Capital Connect forced to cancel trains, run replacement buses and use a temporary timetable.
Network Rail worked through the night to fix the problems and as of 9.23am trains running from London to Cambridge and Peterborough were back to normal.
