RAIL commuters faced lengthy delays to their journey home last night (Tuesday), after a young woman collapsed onboard a train.
Paramedics were called to Potters Bar rail station just after 6.30pm, after reports of a passenger being taken ill.
The 12 carriage train was held at the station as ambulance crews treated a 20-year-old woman who had fainted onboard a train from King’s Cross.
She was taken to Chase Farm Hospital for a check up, but her condition is not thought to be serious.
A spokeswoman for train operator First Capital Connect said services were delayed by up to 40 minutes.
