Traffic on the M25 near Potters Bar was temporarily halted this afternoon following concerns for a man’s welfare.
Police were called to the anticlockwise carriageway between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and 25 for Enfield, where traffic was held at around 1pm as emergency services helped the man.
He was eventually detained by officers before the traffic was released.
The incident caused congestion to build along the stretch, which has now eased.
