A person was hit by a train at Potters Bar station, causing major delays for trains going from Welwyn Garden City to Potters Bar.
The person was hit by a train at around 9.45am today.
A spokesman for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) said: “All staff are helping emergency services. It’s distressing for everybody involved.”
The incident has caused major disruption for trains travelling through Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield towards Potters Bar, with all lines blocked.
