Lanes are being closed overnight on the A1(M) this week and will affect junction 6 for Welwyn Garden City.
The lanes are being closed on the North Herts section of the A1(M) so overhanging vegetation can be cleared from the roadside verges and embankments.
Mobile lane closures were put in place between Junction 6 for Welwyn Garden City and Junction 10 for Baldock services last night.
The work will continue for five nights ending on Friday.
The closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am.
