NEW customer information screens have been installed at WGC rail station.
As part of an upgrade programme by station operator First Capital Connect, the LED screens replace the 15-year-old TV-style screens, offering more information, greater viewing distance, and a lower rate of power consumption.
The screens are being installed at six other stations, including Hitchin and Letchworth Garden City.
First Capital Connect customer information delivery manager Paul Cooper said: “Customers have asked us in the past to replace the old style customer information screens at these seven stations and I am pleased to report that the programme is on course.
“I am confident our passengers will appreciate the benefits of the new LED screens.”
