Traffic is building on the M25 between South Mimms and St Albans after a crash this afternoon (April 26).
Three lanes are currently blocked on the anticlockwise carriageway between junctions 22 and 23, for South Mimms and St Albans respectively, after a collision at around 5.30pm left one vehicle overturned.
Highways England tweeted that its travel officers are on their way to clear the scene.
The incident has caused long tailbacks and motorists are being advised to plan ahead before using the stretch.
It is unclear if anyone was injured. Updates to follow.
