There are hour-long delays on the M25 between Potters Bar and St Albans following a “HGV shed load incident” this morning (September 11).
Highways England has urged motorists to consider using alternative routes after two lanes of the clockwise carriageway were forced to close between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and 25 for Enfield.
Contractors are currently working to clear the “shed load of steel”, causing tailbacks affecting South Mimms and St Albans.
Updates to follow.
