WHILE some schools in Hertfordshire remain shut due to the weather, others are re-opening their doors today (Friday).

Restrictions apply in many cases, though, with late starts to allow for extra travel time, or lessons for certain year groups only.

* Mount Grace, Potters Bar, open from 9.40am for pupils in year 9 upwards
