Fares such as season tickets are regulated to increase by the annualised increase in the Retail Prices Index for July, calculated by the National Office of Stastics as 1.9 per cent.
The figure, published today, will push up annual season tickets to London terminals from January by £52.61 from Welwyn Garden City, £48.10 from Hatfield, and £38.84 from Potters Bar.
