Train travel is set to become easier for passengers travelling to and from Welwyn Garden City.
Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) has announced that changes will be made across the service, improving the level of cleanliness on trains and reducing the number of passengers travelling without a ticket.
There are also plans to introduce 25 new trains across the network with six carriages each, including metro style trains in Welwyn Garden City.
These new trains will have wider gangways, creating more space for passengers on board, as well as air conditioning, power points throughout the train and full access for disabled passengers.
