Hertsmere MP Oliver Dowden has called for an extension of the Oyster card service to Potters Bar.
Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) have already promised to extend the service to Radlett, allowing passengers to avoid paying for expensive season tickets and enabling them to commute more easily between Potters Bar and London. However there have been delays on this plan.
Mr Dowden said: “Potters Bar residents can use pay as you go in Greater London but when you get to our side you don’t get it. A number of constituents said they would be really keen to extend the system.”
