MOTORISTS are being warned to take care while driving to work tomorrow (Friday,) with heavy rain and flash floods expected to hit Times Territory during rush hour.
Weather forecasts for tomorrow morning indicate that rain, thunder and floods are expected to hit the southern areas of Hertfordshire bordering London between 6am and 9am.
A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Highways said: “Drivers are advised to slow down, put their lights on and leave plenty of space between themselves and the driver in front.
“Hertfordshire Highways will have crews on standby ready to manage any flash flooding.”
