Hatfield tunnel will be closed tonight (Wednesday) while tests are carried out on new ventilation fans.
Drivers going southbound on the A1(M) will be diverted off at junction four (Oldings roundabout, Hatfield) and those going north will be taken off at junction three (Welham Green).
Diversions will be in place along the A1001 between 10pm and 5.30am on Thursday, October 7.
