Hatfield railway station plans go on public display

A PUBLIC exhibition giving further details of the planned �9m upgrade to Hatfield railway station takes place next week.
The improvements include a multi-storey car park, new pedestrian footbridge and a bus interchange.
The exhibition, at York House in Salisbury Square, Old Hatfield, will be hosted by First Capital Connect, Network Rail and the county council.
First Capital Connect head of projects Pete Carbery said: “I’m looking forward to the chance to meet the local community and rail users to get their feedback before we finish our design.”
Times are 1.30pm to 8pm on Monday, and 11am to 8pm on Tuesday.
