A COACH service for Welwyn Hatfield is celebrating its 80th anniversary this weekend.
The Green Line coach service, which connects Times Territory with London, Heathrow Airport, Hitchin, Stevenage and Harlow, was first registered in 1930, and this Sunday celebrates eight decades on the road with an historical exhibition.
Linsey Frostick, customer services manager for Arriva the Shires & Essex, which operates Green Line, said: “We are looking to celebrate and recognise the legacy of the Green Line service. Our coaches carry thousands of passengers each year providing an essential transport link for people living in Hertfordshire.”
To mark the anniversary, an exhibition will be held this Sunday, April 11, at Wisley Airfield in Surrey.
