Police were called to reports of a ‘suspicious’ bag at Hatfield railway station at 11.38am.
The bag was declared safe by 12.02pm.
Herts police are currently at the scene waiting to hand over to British Transport Police.
Great Northern tweeted saying that there will be no further disruption to services as a result of the incident.
