Great Northern trains are running again following the death of a man at Meldreth.
Police had been called to the village, north of Royston, after reports of a man being hit by a train.
The man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trains running between Cambridge and Stevenage in both directions had been affected and while both lines are now open, National Rail Enquiries have said there could still be delays of up to 30 minutes.
This is expected to go on until around 7pm.
