Gas engineers repairing a leak will stop drivers using an important Welwyn Garden City road for nearly a week.
National Grid Gas PLC staff started work on a pipe near the entrance to allotments yesterday, and are scheduled to remain until Tuesday, April 14.
The company describes the work as “Trace, then excavate to repair gas escape and reinstate where possible”.
