A fuel spillage on the M25 between Potters Bar and South Mimms has caused delays this afternoon (Wednesday, April 11).
It happened at around 1pm following a collision on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 23 for South Mimms and 24 for Potters Bar.
Two lanes were closed to allow police and Highways England officers to clear the scene, which caused delays along the stretch.
Highways England has since tweeted: “The collision and fuel spillage have been cleared #M25 clockwise between J23 #SouthMimms and J24 #PottersBar.
“All lanes are NOW OPEN and earlier delays are easing, safe travels today.”
