NORTHBOUND trains running from WGC are currently being disrupted due to a “massive” freight train which has broken down.
The goods train stretches right along the length of platform three and right up to the bridge at Broadwater Road, blocking the line to Cambridge.
A First Capital Connect spokesman said the train was not theirs, however it was causing a temporary disruption.
A passenger on the opposite platform said: “It’s absolutely huge, there’s nothing moving and there doesn’t seem like anything’s going to happen for a while.”
