The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for parts of Potters Bar.
After heavy rain on Tuesday, May 29, the lower Lee tributaries are in danger of flooding, which could reach Potters Bar, in particular Carpenter Way and the north end of Park Avenue.
Land just parallel to the M25 between Junctions 24 and 25 for Potters Bar are also at risk of flooding, but with no current risk to the road itself.
The Environment Agency issues a flood warning when it deems flooding to be “possible”, advising people to be prepared.
