Passengers travelling on Great Northern trains are experiencing delays this afternoon (Monday) between Stevenage and Cambridge.

The delays are due to a person being hit by a train at Meldreth, just north of Royston.

Lines are currently closed in both directions.

National Rail Enquiries have said there is no firm estimate yet of how long the disruption will last.

Great Northern tickets are being accepted on both London Underground and Abellio services for travel from Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale to Cambridge.
