MORE buses will be available to passengers in Welwyn Hatfield after Government funding was secured.
Passengers who use the Arriva 300 and 301 services, which run through several Times Territory stops in Knebworth, Woolmer Green, Welwyn, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, will benefit from the change.
The scheme, called BIG-HERTSBIGIDEAS, means that services have been brought more into line with connecting rail services and the journey from Hemel Hempstead terminating at the QE2 Hospital has been extended to include WGC bus station.
Rob Smith, assistant director of transport management, said: “We want to encourage more residents to use public transport in Hertfordshire and these new services and initiatives will help to drive up the quality and convenience of bus services.”
