ARSENAL cult hero, Ray Parlour, has been announced as the celebrity patron for a helicopter ambulance service.
The former midfielder, adored by the Gunners’ fans during his 15 year stint with the North London club, will take the role on at the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust from Saturday May 1.
Ray, who was capped 10 times for England, paid a visit this week to North Weald Airfield - the trust’s base - to mark the occasion.
