THE Hatfield Tunnel will be closed for maintenance overnight tonight and tomorrow.
The current northbound A1(M) carriageway between junctions three (Welham Green) and four (Hatfield) and the junction three entry slip road will be shut from 10pm until 5am tomorrow (Tuesday).
Then the current southbound carriageway between junction four (Hatfield) and three (Welham Green) and the junction four entry slip road will closed from 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) until 5am on Wednesday.
A diversion along the A1001 will in place on both days.
Both carriageways are currently travelling through the southbound tunnel while a two-year refurbishment project takes place.
