The A1(M) is set for over a week of overnight road closures.
The stretch of road between the exit and entry slips at Junction 7, Knebworth House and Stevenage, will be closed between 10pm and 5am, each night, starting on or after Monday.
It is expected to continue for eight nights on weekdays only.
Traffic will be diverted off and on the A1 by using the slip roads.
The closures will alternate between the north and southbound carriageways on alternative nights and are to allow for bridge inspection work to be carried out in safety.
