Police were called to South Mimms this morning following a crash on the A1(M).
Officers attended the northbound carriageway following reports of the collision near the slip road for Junction 1 (South Mimms), which involved a silver Vauxhall Astra.
A police spokeswoman said the vehicle was recovered from the central reservation and there were no injuries reported.
The crash caused long tailbacks to Junction 23 of the M25, with traffic clogging the roundabout. Delays have now eased.
